South-end lake access park
The District identifies a parking area at this lake access park and records installation of an accessible fishing dock and kayak launch in October 2024. Its temporary crane-work closure was an installation notice, not a standing closure.

Is the Wood Lake loop entirely on a separated path?
No. The District map combines Pelmewash with the Rail Trail, then uses sidewalks, bike lanes and multi-use paths beside Woodsdale and Oceola Roads. For a simpler path outing, consider returning along your chosen Pelmewash section.

Dogs must be leashed on the trail. The mapped off-leash dog area near the south end is a separate designated space; it does not make the full pathway off-leash.
