CitedDISCOVERED THROUGH A CUSTOMER QUESTION

GOOGLE AI OVERVIEW · Screenshots supplied October 15, 2026

A property owner asks. His expertise appears.

who should i call for getting my commercial property leased in vancouver?

Google’s AI Overview cited David’s guide, “Who Should Lease My Commercial Property in Vancouver?”, within the answer and as a source card. His article also appeared in the search results below. The question did not include David’s name: useful content connected his expertise with someone exploring a commercial-leasing decision.

ALSO SEEN IN A REPUTATION SEARCH

A separate reputation search also produced a positive AI Overview about David, drawing on his website and other online sources.

The commercial-leasing screenshots verify a source citation. The full question was supplied by the owner. The reputation search was checked separately on October 15. AI answers can vary by question, location and date.
Dates, sources & what this measures

A review-count comparison during an existing OKTD relationship. September is the audit baseline, not the partnership start. The 367% increase is review-count growth, not a measured increase in calls or rankings.

  • September 16 competitor/profile audit: 3 reviews.
  • September 18–19 work receipts: services and three published posts.
  • October 15 public Google profile: 14 reviews, 5.0 stars. Newly added services were also visible.
  • Two Google screenshots supplied October 15 show a David Siccia citation in the AI Overview and a source card for “Who Should Lease My Commercial Property in Vancouver?”. The article also appears in the organic results below. The owner supplied the full question: “who should i call for getting my commercial property leased in vancouver?”.
  • Separate October 15 Google check: “David Siccia property management reviews” produced a positive branded AI Overview.

02 / RESEARCH BEFORE CHANGES

Find the opportunity.
Then earn the click.

The work starts with what your ideal customers search for, who they find today, and where your business has a credible opportunity to compete.

WHAT THE QUESTION TELLS US

The person could want equipment, techniques, regulations or a trip. We need more context before assuming they want a charter.

Explore search intent. These examples are not search-volume or competitor-traffic estimates.

Strategy, written into
every useful detail.

We cross-reference search opportunities with the services you actually want to sell. We look at competing profiles, ranking pages, the questions they answer and available keyword data, then prioritize relevant opportunities with a realistic path to visibility.

That research shapes SEO-relevant service descriptions, accurate categories, your business description and the content on your website. It also guides answers to specific customer questions that can appear in Google’s AI results.

Right service for your business Clear customer intent Competitive opportunity Useful answer and next step
Detailed questions can reveal a clearer buying need. Our aim is relevant enquiries and bookings, alongside visibility.
01Research the competition

Compare the services, categories, pages and questions competing businesses appear for. Use available search data to find gaps and near-term opportunities.

02Choose the right targets

Balance customer intent, competitiveness and commercial fit. Prioritize the work your business wants and can deliver.

03Build a stronger profile

Write SEO-relevant service descriptions. Correct categories, business descriptions, attributes and settings. Review online booking options.

04Answer the buying questions

Create useful service and location content that answers specific questions clearly, supporting discovery in search and Google’s AI features.

05Stay active and reachable

Publish regular posts, add real project photos, request honest reviews, respond to customers and test enquiry and booking paths.

06Measure and refine

Keep dated baselines. Review search visibility and customer actions, then adjust priorities as the evidence develops.

CTR means clicks ÷ impressions at a position. These averages are not slices of one pie and should not be added together.

This shows the maths, not a traffic or lead forecast. Local demand, ads, AI answers, seasonality, devices and your offer change the outcome. Search impressions are not unique people or estimated local search volume.

WHAT THIS MEANS FOR HOME SERVICES IN KELOWNA

Earn the attention. Make the next step easy.

Match the actual job: repair, replacement and emergency work are different needs. Clear services and an easy quote request help the right customer choose.

Then measure: quote requests and qualified calls, alongside visibility. Match the dates, separate branded searches and keep the starting baseline.

Sources, scope and how we build a local comparison

The chart uses the first ten positions from Advanced Web Ranking’s Categories export: September 2026, International, All devices, downloaded October 15, 2026. Broad categories provide context; they are not a study of these specific trades in the Okanagan.

For a local client, we use Search Console clicks, impressions and CTR by query, device and period; Google Business Profile actions; and actual enquiries or bookings. Local rank checks record the search phrase and location. Competitor tools help prioritise opportunities but estimated rankings and search volume do not establish a local click share or prove a lead.

AI answers can change how people use a results page. AWR’s Q2 2026 study reports different click patterns with AI Overviews. We show dated AI citations in our client stories and measure customer outcomes separately.

06 / NUMBERS WITH CONTEXT

A result is better
with its story attached.

Documented progress, useful context and a clear view of what comes next.

What does “before” mean here?

Each comparison starts at a dated audit, campaign or release. Some clients were already working with OKTD. The dates and scope are shown in every story; “before” does not automatically mean before hiring us.

Can we compare months before OKTD began?

The accessible records for these featured clients do not contain a clean, complete-month GBP series from before all OKTD work began. We use the documented comparisons around specific improvements. Missing months are never treated as zero activity.

How do you measure ongoing progress?

Start with a dated profile and search baseline. Compare like-for-like periods, record the work, and review calls, website clicks, direction requests, reviews and relevant search visibility. Seasonality, location and other marketing can also affect results.

Are these current positions or promised results?

These are recorded observations on the dates shown, not live rank trackers. Outcomes vary. Google controls rankings and AI appearances. We focus on the profile, content, reputation and contact experience we can improve.
