Project introductions · Terms version 1 · October 22, 2026
Clear introductions. Clear terms.
For customers
Requests are free. You choose a maximum of two to five contractors; we may find fewer suitable participants. We use your account email, contact number, project answers and chosen documents to arrange the introductions and follow up on the outcome. An invitation is not a confirmed delivery, quote, booking or guarantee. Each business supplies its own individual quote and terms directly to you.
What contractors receive
Before acceptance, contractors see the trade, town, property type, work type, scale, timeframe, introduction fee and sharing limit. Customer identity, detailed free-text answers and files stay private. Those details are released only after the contractor accepts the feedback condition and completes any applicable introduction payment.
Free trials and successful outcomes
A contractor may receive free introductions until a won or completed job is reported as having gone well and our team verifies the follow-up evidence. Acceptance, contact or quoting alone does not enroll a contractor in paid leads. Unsuccessful trials may receive lower matching priority. Customers can report issues separately.
Paid introductions
After a verified success, the contractor must explicitly agree to the current category price of CAD $30 or $50 per accepted introduction. Paid directory placement is separate. Each future paid opportunity requires its own acceptance and Stripe checkout; this program does not automatically charge a saved card or create a subscription. A future price above the agreed amount requires a new agreement. The displayed introduction price is the total charged by this checkout; the contractor is not buying a guaranteed job or an exclusive customer.
Sharing and use
A request can be introduced to multiple businesses within the customer’s chosen maximum. Recipients may use the information only to discuss and quote that requested work. They must not resell it, add the customer to unrelated marketing or share the documents with other businesses without permission. Upload only files relevant to the job, and remove unrelated personal or financial information. Files use private storage and short-lived download links.
Feedback and follow-up
Customers and contractors may record contact, quote, award, completion and problem outcomes. Lisa, Shaun or the directory team may follow up about the actual introduction and optional program participation. Feedback is private operational information; it is not automatically published as a review or used as a public ranking. No automated calling is enabled by accepting these terms.
Credits, disputes and support
Contact info@oktd.ca about a duplicate, invalid contact, wrong category or town, or payment issue. The team reviews the request, agreed scope, payment and delivery records before deciding on a credit or refund. Not winning a suitable, valid introduction does not itself establish a refundable defect.
Cancellation and retention
Customers can cancel through My project requests. Contractors can stop future invitations through their private opportunity page. Cancellation prevents new access but cannot recall information already legitimately disclosed. Private offer links expire after 90 days; download links expire after one minute. Drafts, documents, outcome and financial records are retained only for operation, support and applicable recordkeeping; request deletion or correction through info@oktd.ca. Financial records may need to be retained after access is removed.
Choosing a contractor
Confirm current availability, licensing, insurance, experience, written scope, payment arrangements and warranty directly. Featured placement is labelled and does not establish qualifications. This request service is not emergency dispatch.
