South Okanagan businesses looking for staff can now register for the 2027 Start Here Penticton Job Fair, scheduled for March 10 at the Penticton Trade and Convention Centre.
The registration opening was announced by the City on October 21. The event will run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 273 Power Street, according to the venue’s 2027 listing.
An opportunity for employers to meet applicants
The fair brings employers and jobseekers together in one place, including people looking for seasonal, part-time, skilled-trades and full-time work.
For a business planning its hiring, the current action is to review the employer registration information. The March event is several months away; this announcement does not establish that any particular vacancy will still be available then.
The City, Penticton & Wine Country Chamber of Commerce and WorkBC South Okanagan are the presenting partners.
What jobseekers need to know
Attendance is free for jobseekers. The City says advance registration is not required to attend, although reserving a free ticket helps organizers plan. WorkBC is also expected to provide employment information sessions.
The venue encourages attendees to bring a résumé and be ready to introduce themselves. Check the official event and registration pages nearer the date for participating employers and any further program details.
The date is March 10, 2027
There is a year inconsistency in the City’s announcement: its opening paragraph identifies March 10, 2027, but the event-details line says 2026. The convention centre’s separate event listing confirms Wednesday, March 10, 2027, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
This report uses the corroborated 2027 date. It does not present the fair as an event happening this week. Employer fees, registration deadlines and the final exhibitor list should be checked with the organizers before making a booking.
