Eligible merchants can use the Clover Merchant Surcharge Program to pass an approved surcharge on eligible credit transactions to customers. The program requires approval, advance notices and clear disclosures. Hardware, software, debit processing and other account fees can remain. We confirm your actual terms before recommending a switch.
Tell us your current processor and whether you have used Clover before. Our Canadian channel has restrictions on existing or former Clover and current Fiserv businesses. We check eligibility before preparing an application and discuss alternatives where available.
It depends on your customers, payment mix and operations. We review foreign-card acceptance, deposits, refunds, seasonal costs and POS integrations. Traditional processing may be a better fit. Industry and processor approval are required.
The initial review is free and carries no obligation to switch. Any equipment, software, processing or other charges will be set out in your proposal and processor agreement. OKTD may receive compensation from the processing provider when a merchant joins.
Have a recent complete processing statement, your current processor/device details and any contract information ready for the call. Do not put bank account numbers, card details or identification documents in the booking notes. We arrange the appropriate document-sharing process after the call.
The processor handles underwriting, the merchant agreement and activation. Our team assists with your application and required identity checks. A review or booking does not open an account. Activation timing depends on approval, equipment and required surcharge notices.
